Problems we inspect

A dropped sash, a handle that moves with resistance, a damaged hinge or a window that will not tilt correctly can require different repairs. We check the mechanism and how its parts work together before choosing a solution.

Hardware and moving parts

The work may involve adjustment, servicing hinges and locking points, or replacing a worn handle, lock, latch or another compatible component. The available repair depends on the window system and the condition of the remaining hardware.

Airtightness and closing

Draughts and an uneven fit can be related to damaged seals or to sash alignment. We check both. If the glass unit or another part needs separate work, we explain the scope before proceeding.

Windows and balcony doors

We work with uPVC and wooden windows, including opening and tilt-and-turn sashes, and with balcony doors. An inspection helps determine whether servicing the existing structure is appropriate.
