Roto NT and NX need precise identification

Roto NX builds on NT and includes surface-mounted and concealed hinge sides. A Roto marking does not identify one universal gearbox, stay or hinge. We establish the version, frame material and installed connections.

Photograph the strip markings and both hinges. For concealed hinges, show accessible components only if the sash opens safely. Do not disconnect fittings for photographs.

A moving handle does not prove that the drive works

A loose handle can arise from its fixings, spindle or gearbox. We check movement through the locking circuit. Closing resistance requires checks of keeps, sash geometry and corner connections, rather than an assumption of handle failure.

  • No tilt function: inspect the scissor stay, control sequence and mishandling device.
  • Balcony sash rubs: inspect supports, fixings and sash position.
  • Uneven closing pressure: examine locking points and the gasket around the perimeter.

Match the replacement to the actual assembly

Gearbox selection includes strip length, handle position and corner connections. Hinges and stays require the correct variant, opening direction and application limits. Older and newer Roto parts are not automatically interchangeable.

Sound fittings may need adjustment and maintenance. For damaged components we check compatibility and availability before discussing replacement. Completed work is tested for locking, turn opening and tilting with the actual sash, including large balcony doors. The test covers the complete installed assembly.

Arrange the repair in three steps

If the mechanism suddenly jams, do not apply extra force. Tell us the handle position and whether the sash is open, tilted or closed.

  • 1. Call +48 786 510 832 and tell us your location.
  • 2. Prepare photographs of the markings; inspection identifies the Roto assembly and fault.
  • 3. Agree the price and scope, complete the selected repair and check each operating mode.

Questions before booking

Are all Roto NT and NX parts interchangeable?

We do not assume complete interchangeability. The specific part, version and existing connections must be checked before a replacement is selected.

Should a freely turning handle simply be replaced?

Not necessarily. We check its fixing, spindle and drive transmission first, so a working handle is not replaced for a gearbox fault.

Can a window with concealed hinges be inspected?

Yes. Its adjustment method and replacement options depend on the identified hinge-side version and the window construction.

Is lifting the hinge enough for a dropped balcony door?

The fixings and sash geometry need assessment first. Position adjustment will not repair a cracked support or a damaged connection.
